Upma Recipe


1 Cup
Water 7 tbsp
Onion 1 medium size
Green chilli 2
Carrots, beans, peas 1/2 cup
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Corriander powder 1 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp


  • Sprinkle the water on the provita and mix well.
  • Steam this for four minutes and keep aside.
  • In oil cook the onion and vegetables till soft, add the salt and masala powders.
  • Then add the steamed Provita and saute on low flame for two minutes.
  • 1/4th cup of water can be added if a pastey consistency is prefered.
