White Onions (sliced length wise) | ¼ cup |
Grated Carrots | ¼ cup |
Grated cabbage | ½ cup |
Sliced Cucumber | ½ cup |
Sliced Capsicum | ¼ cup |
Grated Mango | 2 Tbl.sps. |
Salt as required Green chillies | 2 |
Lemon 2, Mustard Seeds | ¼ tsp. |
VVS Sesame Oil |
1 tsp. |
Asa foetida | a pinch |
Grated ginger | ½ tsp. |
Chopped coriander leaves | 1 Tbl.sps. |
Methods
- Slice all the vegetables into even sized lengthwise pieces, and mix together in a bowl.
- Heat little oil and season mustard seeds, sliced green chillies, asafetida powder and pour over vegetables.
- Mix cooked dhal, grated ginger, lemon juice and salt.
- Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
